The continent rings are beautiful: the engraving is very clear and nicely done. The gold ones are so vibrant in colour, they really stand out on the key chain, even from a small distance. The black ones are quite pretty too, but the black is less deep than expected. Because of the dull colour and the shiny surface the black doesn't really stand out form the silver rings. They seem similar to silver rings that don't catch the light. The engraving in still clearly visible.
The rings can be fitted onto the keychain without scratching them. They were folded in blotting paper to keep them from tumbling around inside the cotton pouch, which was inside a padded envelope; needless to say they arrived in good condition.
